Le cose stanno iniziando a girare nel senso giusto su PiGiZoo. Le persone iniziano ad arrivare e il divertimento è assicurato! PiGiZoo: a new project for Trentino young people

I with my friend Andrea, we have started a new project ( LINK ) called PiGiZoo: a network for people in Trentino interested in develop interesting projects and ideas!

We are only at the beginning but we are doing our best to keep things going!

Barack is teaching how to keep people support him

There are a couple of days that I watch the site of the candidate Barack Obama. First of all I have got to say that the site is really “web 2.0-ish” and it looks great. I also created my account on “my barack obama” and inside the personal page, you can find some interesting features:

- my profile

- my network

- my neighborhood

- my blog

- my events

and the one that I love is:

- my points

In “my points” section of the page you find how are you ranked and how much point you have. The number of points start from a lower level, but you can earn points more action you take, for example inviting some friends, sending some emails or supportign with a donation.

This I think is the most interesting features of this WAY 2.0 for a candidate to build a network and a supporting infrastructure on the web diffused across USA and the world.

How this thing works? People want to get track of what they did and they are doing; they like to share their improvements and experiences with other people; people want to be visible for themselves and the others. The fact to put there some points/score, is similar to say: “…Hey look I’m doing something I can track, an email, a donation and I become a good boy with a lot of points”

Well, Obama for me is great and if you have time go to check out some of his speeches on YouTube !

All you need is a fork, a knife and…an iPhone!
